Charlie Agatep is President & CEO of Agatep Associates and Group Chairman of EURO RSCG Manila, a subsidiary of EURO RSCG WORLDWIDE.

Charlie is a journalist who is widely respected in the public relations community.

• He received the Finalist Award, PR Professional of the Year, given by the Asia Pacific PR Awards 2006, and the CEO (Communication Excellence in Organizations) Excel Award 2006 from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

• He is one of the nine PR veterans featured in a book on the PR industry entitled "How to Make it in PR" which recalls the highlights of their careers.

• He has been in the mass communications industry for over 3 decades: as a newspaperman, radio/TV broadcaster, mass communications college professor, advertising client, and two-term president of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines.

• He has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, cum laude, University of Santo Tomas, and a Master’s degree in Communication Arts from Boston University under a US State Department Fulbright & Smith-
Mundt full scholarship.

• He was a Melville Jacoby fellow in journalism at Stanford University.
